Touch of Love

I came across a page on a popular community website a few weeks ago. While browsing the photos shared by the owner Organization of the page, I found a photo which immediately filled my eyes with tears. It was so heart-warming and touching, full of emotions, happiness, sadness, love and care... I felt I must grab a pencil and make a drawing of it. Here is the result. This drawing was "a first" for me from many aspects. My first attempt for graphite portrayal, first attempt for detailed environment, etc. It took a long time to finish, but every single minute of drawing was a pleasure. *** Update: I feel so happy and honoured that the representative of the Organization loved my finished drawing! I offered to gift the original artwork to Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses, and she told me that they would be glad to receive it and make a photo of the therapy pony (Hamlet) in the photo, with the drawing next to him. So I am going to send the framed original drawing to the USA in the near future. I feel so happy that I could do something - just a little thing though - to express my respect and acknowledgement for their work

- 4H-6B DERWENT medium graphite pencils
- white copier paper (I think I will choose a better quality paper next time)
-A4 size
